 Title: Trickster
Editor: Matt Dembicki
Summary: A compilation of sequential art stories about Native American Tricksters

What I liked: I picked this book off of the shelf because, well, it just seemed interesting. I am part Native American and I've always enjoyed the stories that they tell about why nature is like it is, and about the tricksters who always get caught or taught a lesson--or maybe their victims do. Either way, I thought Dembicki did a really great job picking tales from all across the United States about Raven and Coyote and Rabbit, and even a few others. The art work also varied a lot which I thought was a treat, because Native American cultures could vary quite a bit from tribe to tribe.

What I didn't like so much: I think I can only pick on a few smaller things, because it is an anthology. There was one story about coyote where they kept saying when the animals changed into their human forms, which seemed a bit unecessary, especially after the first time, becaus you are showing the animals changing. Some tales seemed shorter and less detailed than others, but that's just how some tales exist, so I won't really pick on that. The only other thing I can think of is that the text sometimes became hard to read because there were different fonts.
